The sim being run 2 times is like rolling dice hoping it wont land on 3, if you keep rolling and rolling its gonna land on 3 eventually. Just kinda bs in my opinion.
You know what the difference between Jeremy Lin and Tim Tebow is?... Jeremy Lin is probably a good Quarter Back.

No, what sucks is the hypocracy. A re-sim was not necessary to process the trades. As a result of the re-sim:
      (A) A player that had a career ending injury never got injured.
      (B) A player that was lost by NY on waivers was changed so that the player was never lost.

From where I'm standing, the re-sim was done solely for those 2 reasons.
      --------------------
I'm done talking about it, as I would just be trolling at this point. However, I would like to see the injuries fixed. It's only fair.

Yeah because New York really needed Kevin fucking Millar. Give me a fucking break. A sim was done without the completion of several trades that impacted several big league rosters. The sim should reflect those trades as completed, they did not, so it should not count.

I don't give a fuck how many times you roll the dice, if they're rolled when they shouldn't be, then the roll shouldn't count.

Mainge, Chris Lubanski is still a FA. That deal was done about 2 sims ago I think correct? You also posted in the day 23 thread that you need him placed on your team. That was not done.

Swift we need to re sim.

Mainge, I think the bigger picture was the guy in charge of running today's sim and I believe in charge of those trades and such ran the sim and lost his top prospect for his career but basically got a redo since he forgot to put in those trades.

I know PWG and Swift put in a lot of their personal time to get all this done but its understandable to see people upset after seeing something like this occur(with what specifically happened and who it happened to).

I also posted in the day 24 thread (the first one) that I would love to see PWG's injury cut down to 1 year instead of career. We are all having fun here so why not cut some slack on a circumstance that really should not have happened.

I understand that but I know PWG and Swift very well and I know they both have much better things to do than fuck with a game and manipulate it to give them an advantage. The trades weren't complete, they should have been, invalid sim. End of question in my mind. Chris Lubanski wasn't on my big league rosters so that really doesn't matter to me or my opponents. Bottom line, in a playoff race, teams who just gave up an ass load of prospects for a half-season of a player, deserve to have that player for as many games as possible.

                  And really, Ichiro sucks.

Listen, I've been out all day, and I've really not been online since last week, so to suggest that I'm meddling or manipulating what happens is absurd. This evening, I got a IM from PWG to my phone that I needed to re-sim. I noticed that Boston got a player that I would consider of consequence, and given the tight race we are having (and given that it was a position player) I wouldn't want him to accuse me of meddling with his acquisition so I got 5 days of his inferior 25 man competing in the division race with me.

As I see it, the biggest risk was that Boston didn't get his player for the current sim. I was told that the sim needed to be redone, I signed on to do it, talk to Colorado about a potential trade and ditto Seattle. I didn't download the "old" day 24, I never saw it, I had no idea what happened in it.

I wish I could say I had better things to do right now, but I don't, so instead of watching TV or porn or something, I'm going to defend myself against accusations that I intentionally manipulated Kevin Millar to my AAA team, and I wonder why I'm depressed.

That's exactly what happened to me in the first game that was re-simmed. That's why I didn't check it this time.

Something really needs to be done about this. Re sim or something. I am not saying any of you guys did anything wrong or sketchy but ANY of you put yourselves in the same spot and you would want the same. ANY of you. Like I said before also, I wanted PWGs injury reduced last sim, he wanted it and was probably going to get it done. It did get done just another way. so that whole thing was avoided but PWG yours was 100% legit and I heard no problem from anyone to shorten it or something. I just think for this particular situation we could extend a little sportsmanship in this league.
                            --------------------
Also let me make it clear. PWG I used your situation just for refrence I am not "calling you out" or saying you did anything wrong. but you see my point.

I would not be upset. Especially over a shitty .750 OPS OFer.

So your argument is since you think he sucks that he doesn't matter and should not be fixed? By that logic you should not give a damn and not be posting?
