  • Dim, I totally read it as "But we're at the point where Solano is sharting."

Source: Deal between #Padres, #Angels is 4-for-2. Street and minor leaguer to Angels. Lindsey, Alvarez and two other minor leaguers to Pads.
I really wish the Marlins did this. I think Lindsay or Yarborough would have been great. I think Cishek could get more because if he is traded at the deadline, the new team would get him for 3 1/2 years.

          • Solano's .565 OPS is 93 points higher than Uggla's this season, just to be put into harsh reality how shitty Uggla is now.

I think we're going to give Jordany Valdespin a look before the season is over (and that's a better option than Uggla too).

              • he sucked in 144pa for the Mets last season (but still better than Uggla this year), not helped by a .208babip

has a decent enough minor league track record, it's worth a shot

I like Dietrich better obviously, but we might as well pretend he doesn't exist at this point

Your thing about those guys are weird. They're both trash.

                  • You have an interesting definition of "trash." I think maybe you're being hyperbole-ish.

                      • A .33 ERA and 13H, 38K in 27IP with a .149 OppAVG is pretty decent.

The one dude had a .780 OPS as a second baseman in AA at the age of 21.

You're talking about the guy with the ~.730 OPS in the PCL, right?

I'd rather keep Cishek if that's what he fetches
