Just saw that. Love it (for selfish reasons) I already have tickets to the 2nd game (Sec 12, Row 5) because Opening Night is on a school night.

Conley and Cosart are both having very promising springs.

Been on the Conley bandwagon since the end of last year.

Me too and he's ideally suited to be our #5 starter right now.

Surprised about Nicolino with how the FO talked about him in the past. Can't say I've looked at when he's pitched this spring, but his line looks nice.

Surprised about Nicolino. Perez only spent 2 hrs one game talking about how he is locked in as the #4 Starter. Guess he didn't get the memo.

The rotation is Chen/Jose/Koehler/Cosart/? Likely Conley. They had been acting like 2 spots were open but really was just 1.

The only surprising thing is they sent Ellington AND Bearclaw down. Maybe McGowan gets a spot but more likely Phelps keeps the LR job and Edwin Jackson moves into pen

That still leaves 1 bullpen spot, assuming Breslow makes the team....Ramos, Morris, Dunn, Breslow, Phelps, Jackson. Maybe Ege, Ogando, or McGowan makes the team...or perhaps someone not currently on the roster.

Brad Hand? He's basically been in the bullpen for two years now anyway.

Who is running this team?? A story out that Urena might make the team as a setup man/RP!!!

When did this team learn to actually use guys where they should be used?

So the reason why our position prospects can't hit is NOT because they suck it is because of the backdrop. The hitter's eye can't focus according to Eduardo Perez.

3 games of him and it is enough already. Hope we get alot of Leiter!!!! Guess NOT Perez gets 70 games

Jeff should have hired him as Ambassador to Cuba, see if we could get discounts on them

Just remember Carlos Rodon and Aaron Nola(Both in MLB Rotations) were taken after him

Jim Benedict is already paying off- Tyler Kolek has elbow discomfort and is MRI bound today, which means Jeff's value pack with Dr.Andrews will have 2 punch marks soon

Can't really blame 1 person for the pick but it was a terrible pick and is only getting worse. Jeff liked him because he was 6'5 260/threw 100 and gave us a discount,Stan Meek liked him because was from TX/OK and his "scouts" told him that Rodon might be better in the pen and our DJ liked him because he was told to.

Well on the brightside at least we know TJ isn't because throw tons of innings since Kolek couldn't get past 4 innings and we don't have to watch him pitch like BOOTY again this year

                                - - - - - - - - - -

Some ST notes- Looks like we are down to 3 spots

Spot on bench-DD probably gets it since can play multiple spots and no options

RP-Urena,Breslow,Ege,Ogando,Brad Hand. They are trying to see if they can get an arm with options tho for Hand. So doubtful he really is in the conversation but who the hell knows. Mattingly might use Dunn as a setup man and keep 3 Lefties in the pen with Ege as LOOGY
