New Orleans fans can't wait for Furcal to get healthy so they can add Dietrich's bat to their lineup.

Alvarez and Jennings can blame at least some of their issues on high BABIP's, but they also just need to pitch better. #Analysis

He's given up 3+er in back to back starts, he's washed.

I would also assume he won't give up a home run every five flyballs down the line.

                I think he's pretty good

That's not true, really. Dunn has pitched enough in his career to say that he's rather mediocre. ERA's for relievers can be misleading (not that Dunn's career 3.5 ERA is all that impressive to begin with).

He's another guy who probably shouldn't be counted on for high-leverage innings.

I think he can be a better-than-average left-handed reliever in a major-league bullpen. I don't have a very strong opinion on his ability to handle high-leverage innings, though I also don't think any innings this season should really count as high-leverage ones.

I don't really understand your "OK" comments tonight. If you look at Dunn's career leverage stats, they're pretty awful. His ERA #'s are a bit misleading and he's really not that good. Relievers who walk a lot of guys and give up a lot of flyballs tend to have their fair share of bad outings and Dunn has been no different.

As for Jennings, he gave up the game-winning HR the other night in Philadelphia so that definitely counts as one.

I am saying OK because you are saying things I don't really care to respond to. I don't really think Mike Dunn is good every other year.
