    "here's our athlete pick" -tjfla

6'0 175 pounds but has some bat speed and power, not going to be a slappy guy per Jim Callis

raw, needs development, profiles as everyday CF, speedster. Callis says 7 speed on a 2 to 8 scale

Every draft we get one early. Can't hit but if he gets on watchout, least we know Seymour will be a SS now with this kid in CF

Greenfield School (Wilson, N.C.) never has produced a player selected in the Draft, but this year the Knights may have two. Fast friends White and Dwanya Sutton play together in Greenfield's outfield, with White's speed and athleticism making him a better prospect than Sutton, who sticks out with his power potential. White is a well-above average runner who can steal bases and run down flyballs from gap to gap as a center fielder. He has a quick bat and deceptive strength, and while he won't be a big home run threat, he has more pop than the typical speedster. White is extremely raw and has faced little semblance of pro competition, so he will need time to develop. He'll need to develop plate discipline and learn to recognize pitches better. Both he and Sutton will attend East Carolina if they don't turn pro.
