Ichiro giving Stanton a day off and batting third because the two are pretty much interchangeable

Ah, the good old "Throw-the-Game" Sunday lineup

Considering how poorly Stanton is doing at the plate, it makes sense to give him a day off. Realmuto started the past 6 days and is hitting .529 in May. I don't see how it's setting up for a loss. I mean the batting order is crap but it's not like there is an obvious batting order.

No but it's obvious not to put Ichiro in the 3 hole

Yes but you move Ozuna there who hits 4th. Hit Yelich, Morse, Solano, or Hech 3rd or 4th and you're going to complain over that.

No I'm not because that's what it should be.

You dont just just plug in a replacement in the same lineup spot. That's not how optimal lineups are made.

                Or I wouldn't?

How should today's lineup be set?

You think Ichiro hitting third is fine?

No but I don't see any obvious choice in the lineup so I'm not going to complain about it when we know Redmond normally just does the plug and play thing. The lineups have been changed around slightly lately so I think he's improving with it if anything

                        Ozuna is the obvious choice

Ok you're right but then who hits cleanup?

Or I'd be fine with Yelich 3 and Ozuna 4.
