and I honestly think that doesn't preclude us from being "in the race" - the rest of the schedule (save for another Nats series) is really good for us, as long as a sweep isn't deflating to the team

however, if tonight is any indication, Giancarlo is about to embark on one of his funks. Hopefully it's just a matter of him facing an awfully tough pitcher tonight
