Maybe that's why Bour was removed from the lineup?

Dietrich demoted but Solano is still on the bench in case we need a pinch bunter.

Can they really call themselves a legitimate organization at this point?

I'm assuming we will have Bour up here a couple of games and then send him back down and call up one of Tejada/Furcal.

I use the word organization in the loosest sense of the word.

i mean, this is just dumb. but it's the kind of dumb baseball teams indulge in semi-regularly.

The Kevin Gregg/draft pick thing is way more egregious.

If they draft Rodon, are they forgiven?

.237/.315/.386 in 128pa in his last 35 games and can't play defense. I mean, I personally wouldn't have sent him down, but I get it.

the draft pick trade is way more egregious.

Kevin Gregg while I hate the signing is probably better than half our bullpen.

Dietrich's been one of our better hitters this year, is actually a young player which this franchise should be focused on and giving ample opportunity, and instead we're going to give his ABs to a laughable combination of Lucas/Tejada/Furcal.

we're 16-20 when Dietrich starts and 14-8 when he doesn't

What is weird to me is that he looked above average defensively in ST. Its like he gets nervous in real games or something.

I don't think they possibly have a better option vs. RHP at 2B than Dietrich.

The fact that this probably means Furcal or Tejada everyday soon makes it even worse.
