                • Chris Coghlan continues to (somehow) own Cole Hamels
                • Nice outing from Sanabia. I'm sure that will help his confidence
                • Bullpen was awesome last night
                • Ruggiano got his first hit(s) since 5/12
                • Not sure what I'm more impressed with, Ozuna's confidence against lefties or his cannon of an arm
                • Congrats to Hech on his first SB of his career

                fun little game last night

Wow, that's blatant. I bet he'll argue he had something in his mouth and he simply hit the ball by accident (not a good explanation).
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

Well, he does wipe the spit off the ball

A real spit ball keeps the substance on it.... but yea, he'll def get fined for this

Yeah, it's gross but not a spitball. Just looking for some grip.

Or he doesn't know how a spitball is supposed to work.

I've watched/listened to about 12 innings this year, and about 2 when Jose Fernandez hasn't played, but is Coghlan's stat line telling the truth:

.348/.375/.522 in May (granted it's 25 ABs, with 10 days to go in the month, but still, little things, ya know?).

EDIT: Just saw, only one multi-hit game in that stretch. That with the low PA's aren't super encouraging, but not totally discouraging either, right?
