The 3 arms got the Benedict treatment and not to many flights from Everett,WA to Batavia,NY.

Seriously for some reason it seems it takes a week or so for us to get guys in trades going. Other teams the guys are ready in 3 days but with us a week minimum unless its Colin Rea. Rea gets acquired 7/29 and 7/30 hurt.

All 4 tho are finally on the teams rosters

Cody Poteet continuing where he left off in Jupiter. He still doesn't strike anybody out but you accept that at this point (which is weird because he did well with K's in GBoro).

Ben Meyer has a 1.11 ERA in Jupiter as a reliever. 59 K's in 48 2/3 IP. He's taken a big step forward from last year. Looks like he could build into a 2019 bullpen option.

Mason Davis still confusing me with how well he's done in Jupiter. .354 batting average in 79 AB's.

Sam Perez with a 1.75 ERA in 7 starts in Batavia. Looks ready to try GBoro again after a terrible start this year.

Meyer should be in Jax already.

Honest question cause i dont know everybody he has worked with, but has their been any tangible impact that Benedict has had to be viewed like he is? Obviously he cant turn dog shit into gold, but we've also had tons of guys who have worked with him for significant periods of time need tommy john surgery immediately, not to mention trevor williams, who we gave up for him, is in the pirates rotation, albeit with so-so results.

Ben meyer even being in Greensboro this year to start the year was a mind boggling decision. With some of the placement of the guys in the system it's as if the team is playing a video game thinking prospect management is on automatic when it is really on manual.

If they ever figure out what Meyer is then very possible. Started him as a RP who could move fast in the system ended in Jupiter, then sent him down to GBoro as a SP,then this year back as a RP but now back as a SP

Perez was just in Batavia to start games-Gboro has about 8 SP

Davis can play his problem is injuries. He stays healthy he could stay in the system a long time. But ya is a nice BA in Jupiter

Anderson continues to hit in AAA. It's just about time to bring him up.

Also, nice debut for Hernandez tonight...and Clarke with another good start. Hopefully he gets to Jupiter by the end of the year.

Must suck for the 17/18 yr old kids in the GCL. They have to deal with Tyler Kolek who throws 97+ but can't control it. He went 1.2in today but 1BB 2HBP and a WP. He did manage a SO finally

TJ Surgery or not still just another Texas HS fireballer bust. Hopefully we won't fall for it again, but every 1 or 2 years MLB get the HS TX SP who throws 100+ but flames out quick

He's thrown 3 innings this year post TJ. I'll give him a little more time before saying he's a complete bust.

Anderson is doing well in AAA. Save him for next yr though. No use starting the clock.
