anderson continuing to show extra base power is encouraging. He doesnt need to be spectacular, but a capable starter at 3b to replace prado would be huge for the lineup and the organization salary wise. Just be competent and thats cool.

U realize in order to move guys up u need space right?? So far u have Norwood and Braxton Lee moving up to AAA however they already have Destin Hood(40 man),Moises Sierra(having a great year),Brandon Barnes(should be 4th OF on MLB team) and Jeff's son Isaac Galloway(coming back). Where are they playing all these guys?

24/25 isn't bad for AA now since most teams don't use AAA for prospects anymore.

Make room. Guys with prospect type status should be moved ahead in the priority chain over guys like Barnes who is OPS'ing .738 as a 31 year old in AAA and Destin Hood hasnt played in a game in a month.

Makes sense make room by clearing out 3 guys who could be a 4th OF on the ML team for 2 guys who are 23/24 and likely 2 years away. Which one do we bring up when Ichiro gets traded or DFA then? O wait we can bring up your boy Telis.

U realize Norwood and Lee aren't really prospects right? Now if they go to the AFL and show something they could be prospects but Norwood,Lee and Dean(the AA OF) are all at best 4th OF right now nothing more

If any of those guys are 4th OF's it is just yet another indictment on how bad this front office is at building organizational depth.

I never said Norwood was. Lee has made himself into a better prospect this year with higher potential than any of those guys in AAA. If anything they are on the same level as those NOLA OF's and are younger. Sierra is having a really good year, but Hood hasnt played in a month and Barnes is a 31 year old having a below average year in a hitters league and has been bad in every opportunity he's been given in the majors, including significant time hitting at Coors field. Also, Barnes has played some 1b.

Saying "3 guys who could be a 4th OF on a ML team" just means they are in the minor leagues and play OF if you are saying those guys could be productive 4th OF's.

Has there been any word on Tyler Kolek? Didnt he have TJ surgery last April?

Thats good to hear. Him being ready beginning of next year for MLB would be huge. Hopefully he continues to hit in NOLA.

Definitely a sign I believe that Anderson is being looked at as the future starting 3B not too far down the line. Dietrich would fill in if Prado were traded but long term I think Anderson is going to become the guy. He's a better player than his minor league numbers might suggest.

Still loving Michael King's season in GBoro. He's a bit inconsistent but he regularly goes well into games and doesn't walk many batters at all (which is a damn good sign for a team that allows among the most walks in baseball). Like to see him strikeout more people (would mean his stuff is better) but a 3.18 ERA in Gboro is a good start. He should only improve on that when going up to Jupiter.

Hey Brian Anderson nice start in AAA. I wouldn't be surprised if he mashed there to finish the season.

Sean Guenther currently has just 1 run allowed in 11 IP for the GCL. 7th round pick this past draft.

Marcos Rivera has a .941 OPS in Batavia. First real chance he's gotten after struggling past few years in lower levels.

Beggs having a solid season in GBoro. I'd like to see him get a shot at Jupiter soon given his age. He's the kind of pitcher that should be slightly fast tracked to see if he can be a future major league player (before the age of 27 would be ideal).
