Marcos Rivera has a .941 OPS in Batavia. First real chance he's gotten after struggling past few years in lower levels.

Beggs having a solid season in GBoro. I'd like to see him get a shot at Jupiter soon given his age. He's the kind of pitcher that should be slightly fast tracked to see if he can be a future major league player (before the age of 27 would be ideal).
Lots of pitchers need to be moved up.

Guenther got promoted to Batavia today but hard to know what they are doing with him. Scouts said fast moving RP who throws strikes but we are using him as a SP. Not a big guy either

Thing about Mike King and Beggs is they are doing this in Gboro which means Jupiter they should be even better. 3.00 ERA in Gboro is very good

He is just depth now. If he wasn't given 1.3 million he would have been released but might as well use him instead of releasing him

Its just like Blake Anderson, instead of releasing him they are trying him as a P. If u pay a guy, might as well get some use out of him(we haven't in the past)

Its a sunk cost. And its holding back other actual possible prospects. He is in his 3rd fucking year in Greensboro and he is horrific. Like historically bad. We already paid him that money no matter what. Shit like that is ridiculous.

Who is he holding back? Dunand and Mahan are on the DL(for some reason),the 3B in Rookie Ball arent anything special- Barzilli and Karas are both UT types and Curtis should be released in the offseason. Rather have him at 21 then us signing some 28 yr old guy who has played 10 yrs already

Long as guys arent over the age level who cares about minor league depth. The issues I have are when we sign 26+ guys and assign them to A ball instead of promoting from within. A 21 yr old u paid 1.3 million to might as well use him for something

Who cares if you dont think there is anyone behind him truly capable of being a prospect. Given where this team is and the farm system is we should be consistently regurgitating and shuffling the farm system and letting go of truly terrible players. Guys who are truly horrific and have no shot of being anything, get rid of them and stop wasting AB's on them. Even if that means pushing guys who you might not think are ready for Greensboro. Cause you might not know if they are anything, but I sure as hell know Justin Twine receiving 500 PA's again in Greensboro this year is a waste of everyones time.

and again, a sunk cost is a sunk cost. We are not "using him for something" other than taking AB's from other potential prospects who actually might have a future in baseball.

Omar Lebron is batting just .235 but has a .395 OBP. He has drawn a walk in 26 of his 37 games. If he learns to hit the ball we got a prospect.

Mason Davis batting .309 since his call up to Jupiter. Definitely a small sample size so expect it to drop but rarely do you see guys do well when first going to Jupiter.

Lebron is a on base machine. Also has 3 HR and 16 SB

DSL has a few nice prospects actually- Lebron,Paulino,Espinal(Bats),Villalobos,Eysseric,B orges,Alcala(Arms). Best part is they are all under 19 too. Not some 21 yr old looking good against kids

Davis is a UT type who can hit. His issue is the same that everyone in our system has-Health. He can't stay healthy

Again with the rays16 horrific joke because i appreciate the way a small market team is actually supposed to run their organization. Idk if you think your jokes are funny, but you strike me as one of the more obnoxious and egotistical people on this board because you think you are omnipotent because you know a janitor in the marlins front office.

Also, if we manage to trade Prado id be cool with giving Brian Anderson the 3b job the rest of the year so he gets his struggles out of the way this year rather than the beginning of next year.

Not that it matters, but can anyone rationally explain why Jeff Brigham is in Jupiter for the 3rd straight year after being decent the last 2 years and 25 years old.
