Luken Baker is a better pitcher yet he doesn't pitch. Would love some Seth Beer though

Top 10 Cape Cod List from BA(Not sure who is running draft in 2018 but we loved the league this year so we could see 1 or 2 of these guys)

Greyson Jenista, of, Cotuit, Wichita State (Jr.)
Griffin Conine, of, Cotuit, Duke (Jr.)
Ryan Rolison, lhp, Orleans, Mississippi (So.)
Logan Gilbert, rhp, Orleans, Stetson (Jr.)
Tyler Baum, rhp, Harwich, North Carolina (So.)
Tristan Pompey, of, Wareham, Kentucky (Jr.)
Alec Bohm, 1b/3b, Falmouth, Wichita State (Jr.)
Tanner Dodson, RHP/OF, Wareham, California (Jr.)
Kris Bubic, lhp, Yarmouth-Dennis, Stanford (Jr.)
Zack Hess, rhp, Bourne, Louisiana State (So.)

We don't have a 1S pick in 2018 and not worth a Rd 1 pick yet but if Conine is around in 2/2S I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him even tho we already are set with OF. Kid can hit and of course Niner is here. If he has a bad year I wouldn't even mind if they wasted a Round 11/12 pick trying to sign him

2018 draft is pretty solid especially at the top. If we finish around .500 they are likely between #17-20 which means if Stan Meek is around he might stay hard all year.

            Sean Hjelle 6'11 RHP Kentucky
Tristan Casas 6'4 240 1B HS from Miami who is all power
Owen Meaney 6'5 220 RHP HS from Tx who throws 95(Yep great name, imagine Meaney as a closer)
Nick Madrigal 5'7 160 2B/SS Oregon St(A big need for us but likely gone)

I know its gonna change alot before next June and even more if Stan Meek is gone

              Marlins at #13

              http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft...AKjg7QVsoTi.97

BA-Jarred Kelenic HS OF from Wisconsin

No matter who makes the pick for Jeter, with Jeff Conine one of the first advisors let go, don't look for his son, Griffin Conine, to cut the Marlins a deal.

gimme a fast moving college bat (as long as we get a ton of pitching in trades this offseason)

I'll give you a slow moving 18 year old starting pitcher who'll bust with the Marlins then sign with a new team and become a stud reliever.

Still looking at College Arms but IF 2B/SS Nick Madrigal falls the FO has alot of interest

Likely is still Logan Gilbert/Jackson Kowar/Ryan Rolison but they are looking at 2 or 3 bats(If they fall to #13)

                            Fangraphs Mock(1-10)

                            https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/2018...k-draft-v-1-0/

The Marlins (53) are the team showing the most interest in Florida prep SS Blaze Alexander.

Interesting for Marlins because they have SP Singer/Shane McClanahan/Gilbert/Kowar/Hjelle AND HS bats like Turang/Gorman all still left on board

We got picks 53/70/89. Alexander would be good pick at 70 or 89. Could stick at SS which helps value(Solid Glove/OK bat).
