Even more so after they get done with us. Fingers crossed we can score 4 runs this series

the marlins either have to be completely misdiagnosing injuries or purposely misreporting the extent of injuries. there really can be no other explanation at this point.

i really wish they would get over the off the field bullshit and trade for puig when his value is lowest and he could help immensely down the stretch and you can improve his value and trade him for a SP in the offseason if you determine you dont have room for him next year. We never ever do things like this. We almost exclusively sell our own guys at the lowest value and trade for guys when their value will never be higher. It is stuff like that, combined with the cheapness of the owner and the complete ignoring of the farm system that leave us scoring 0 runs for games on end the second we run into injuries. See Cishek, Capps, Rodney, we'll probably end up doing the same with Ramos, Latos, Hanley, and countless others. The complete inability to value their own players is fatal to this team and has been for years.

Atta boy Scruggs. He's been really good since he's come up. Platoon between him and Bour would not be a bad thing next year. And Ichiro with the hustle set that all up. Not sure wtf happened last year but he has been incredible this year. Need to finish this game off.

realmuto is an awful defensive catcher. how many significant passed balls and wild pitches have we had this year?

That ball was about 10 feet over his head, that was on Ramos, not Realmuto.

It was on both, it hit his glove. He's had a ton of significant balls get by him this year. Awful was strong but he needs to get a lot better defensively.

Well, I guess he would've scored anyway on that Cespedes hit.

I agree he could improve, but I put more of the blame for that one on Ramos.

They're playing themselves out of a playoff spot night in and night out.

lol this team has no shot at a playoff spot. We have absolutely no pitching and our bullpen is not surprisingly not all that great. They bought high on Rodney and they have a bunch of guys in the pen who can;t throw strikes, and the rotation is hot garbage outside of Jose. Not to mention the teams ahead of us all have significant prospects who can come up and help them in September and we have Don Kelly. The Pirates are going to end up taking that 2nd wild card if they can get healthy. They have like 4 different impact prospects they can bring up to help.

the pitching hasn't been that bad lately.....but when you're scoring zero runs, anything other than perfect doesn't look good...though the bullpen has faltered more often as of late in games that would've been wins had they not.

So Mattingly took out Scruggs - the only guy doing anything offensively lately - for Rojas?
