With nothing coming offensively, I think it's over. The Cardinals just won, so we're now 2.5 games out, tied with the Mets for 3rd.

Good thing we acquired Francouer if we were gonna make a move at all instead of Puig, on a fairly cheap contract and at the lowest his value will ever be, because of stupid off the field bullshit. God forbid we ever buy low on a guy. Francouer is the true difference maker. Good luck getting another SP in the offseason with no assets.

All depends on if another team offers him a MLB contract. Don't forget we tried to get Francouer this past winter but we would only give him a ST Invite

He's not starting though? Nothing like waiting 3+ months to get one of your only big power bats back, only to not start him when he's back while we're in the middle of a slide out of contention...
