This has been a real grind-it-out game.

Relatively low drama 9th. Solid. Marlins haven't lost since Stanton got hurt.

All the injuries suck but glad there's the opportunity to see what Phelps can do back in the rotation.

The answer is still kick ass

2 in a row is nice and it doesn't feel like they've done a whole lot of this lately.

62-56 and tied for the 2nd wild card spot on August 16. Still gotta a decent chance.

We'll see how the rest of this series plays out. Would love to win at least 3 here.

Yeah if Phelps can turn into like a solid #3 type guy that's a huge development.

From my memory, we've never had Stanton AND Ozuna be great at the same time this year, so if Ozuna can get hot again, maybe the good times can continue.

Also, if Cashner can just give us some quality starts instead of being a real dick.

Colin Rea has been our best mid-season acquisition so far.

How exactly are you so bad at managing injuries that a high ankle sprain takes so long to come back from? bour should have been back weeks ago. How is our training staff so terrible?

Remember, he has played some rehab games already and then sort of disappeared. It's possible he had a setback.

They've said as much during the games. The ankle is healing fine, but he's had back and other flare-ups.

Not really a surprise, but Brice sent down with Urena coming up to start tonight.

Didn't they mention Achilles issues with Bour now too? Or maybe that was Rich just talking.

Would've been nice to still have Desclafani. I wasn't opposed to the Latos move at the time, though.

                              ---

With Urena coming up, it made me wonder - Does anyone know how many options to players have? And how does it work? I ask because it seems like we always send guys up and down to make starts here and there and then they're out of options and we dump them for nothing (like Brad Hand)

See you next season, Bour, Stanton and Chen.
