C Carlos Corporan was signed to a minor-league deal after his release from Tampa's AAA team last week. He was hitting .200.

9 strikeouts in 4 innings for Chris Paddack ayy. I remember liking him as a pick and he did well in Rookie Ball last year (I remember somewhere having him as a top 20 prospect in the system). There's a good amount of college pitchers we've drafted the last year or two that have been picking up in the lower ends of the minors. Need some of the high school picks to start progressing the same.

I've said it before but man Brigham's having a bad year.

Rienzo doing well in AAA. 2.66 ERA after being awful in the majors last year. Probably not a popular opinion but I have to imagine he'll get a shot in the 'pen at some point this season. Have to find some combination of relievers that works.

They are doing the same with HS guys/recently drafted guys as they have done in the past. Very very slow-was actually Paddack's first start this year. They also just brought up Holloway and Lilek has only thrown 13 innings. This is one issue that many have, they don't challenge guys-they bring them along slowly and then by Year 6 they are forced to make decisions even though the guy still might be in AA.
