That's actually a promising start from Cosart. Wasn't sure if he was going to sulk in AAA. Still needs to cut out some walks.

Brian Anderson having a low key nice start in Jupiter. .907 OPS in 75 AB's. Had an awesome start in Greensboro to his minor league career, but like most hitters hit a wall in Jupiter. I'm actually more impressed to see him hitting there than I would if he was doing this in Jax. Definitely have to get the hype train back running for Anderson. A .644 OPS last year was just hard to see. Still just 22 and probably one of the few hitters in our system that has potential to be a player in the majors down the line.

Mentioned Dillon Peters previously but he continues to be doing just fine in Jupiter. Gradually getting that inning count up and getting through hitters more effectively. Definitely on the radar.

Oh hi Stone Garrett. Forgot for a second how cool you were in Batavia, and how for whatever damn reason you were put as our #1 prospect in the system even though you had no business being there. Still like the progress, but that was odd to see.

Isael Soto could be fun this year. Interested to know if he can develop gap power. Probably never will be more than a 10+ home run guy, but he gets good contact regularly, and at 19 so much room to grow.

Who would you have put as the #1 prospect?

No right answer to that since basically everybody sucked to start, but I would've kept Kolek #1 despite our feelings about him. He's just 20 and the upside is still there. Plus this would've been before knowing the surgery. K.J Woods should be higher than most lists have him, and Naylor straight out of the draft had higher potential than Garrett (Garrett's numbers came in Batavia, which isn't exactly the biggest indication of success down the line).

I'd probably have had Kolek 1, Garcia 2 (best season so far in Jupiter in 2015 and he's improved in his time in the system) Naylor 3 Woods 4 Garrett 5.

Austin Brice probably has the best pure potential left in our system. If he ever figures things out he has legitimate front of the rotation ability. It's just unknown if that will ever happen.

Woods is getting exposed, .159/.256/.217 27k in 69ab. Lists were right about him.

I think woods at 4 is silly, but I do think it's weird he wasn't even in the top 20 with how shit our system is

Also, Brice is gonna be our #1 spec by season's end, if he doesn't break the rotation. Calling it.

Everybody sucks in Jupiter. Garrett at 1 is dumb considering all his numbers are in Batavia. At least Woods had his great season in GBoro. Him at 4 is definitely more of an indictment on the system than an endorsement of Woods for me.

Garrett just needs AB's, he was hurt all of ST so he is just getting into his groove. The reason why people have him so high is because of potential. Alot of scouts see Gary Sheffield

The issue with Woods is they are trying to turn him into a hitter instead of just a power bat. Jupiter doesn't help either-they have changed his swing and all but has alot of power potential

Soto and Anderson could be 2 big movers for us

Now that's the kind of start Brice needs to have. Don't even care if the Ks are down.

Mader still benefiting from the move the Jupiter

I don't care knowing he can get K's easily. I want things to be more efficient and easy for him. Once both sides meet we get a real pitching prospect
