Got nothing to say about the stats here.

Do want to say thanks again to geemoney for doing these day by day overviews each year. I've used these to gain insight on what's going on and read these each night to see how the prospects are doing just as regularly as I read or watch the news in the morning. Definitely deserve all the positive rep for these. While I am the one who posts about my thoughts the most, I'm sure there are others who don't post that read these just as often to keep up to date. Thanks X1000 once again Gee.

I check these everyday as well however I have to keep my mouth shut most of the time because I start to look at this years numbers and convince myself people like Matt Juengel are starting to figure it out and might be good. (yes I realize he is old and actually filler when I really look at it)

Bad start yes, but no reason to be concerned. His season ERA in the minors (AAA and AA) is now 2.43. Just about every pitcher I've seen go to AAA deals with an adjustment period at first, even the really good ones. No different with Flores. He likely needs the rest of the season in AAA before getting a Spring Training shot next season to earn a rotation spot in the majors. He doesn't turn 24 until November so there's still a good amount of time to develop him.

Hey good game by Stone Garrett. I just love the name Stone Garrett.

Didn't realize Blake Anderson was still in Batavia. While the draft is obviously a crap shoot, having the 36th pick last year still finding his way in Batavia is a bad sign.

Oh yeah Trevor Williams is still in our system. He's improving after a really bad 3 game stretch messed up his ERA, but he still gives up far too many hits and needs to get his ERA into the mid 3's by seasons end if he doesn't want to repeat Jacksonville next season.

Miguel Rojas has reaaaaallly cooled off in June. .521 OPS in 74 AB's after being a mid .800 OPS guy in April/May. Not exactly sure what the plan is long term with him, although his ceiling was always backup SS.

I mean, after what Anderson did in the GCL last season (8/74), where else was he gonna go?

Way too soon to be worried about a raw high school kid.

Blake Anderson is in Batavia because of the bat. His glove is really good and he calls his own game. No real reason to rush him either with Realmuto in the majors. Best Case is Anderson is a Starting Catcher/Worst Case is Jeff Mathis. We could have had JJ Schwarz(wanted 1mil bonus) but the FO went with a guy who could stick at catcher instead of big bat who could maybe stick at C.

Williams is exactly what they thought-a guy who throws strikes. Put him behind an actual defense and he alot becomes better. No offense but David Adams/Zach Cox are not there for defense.

Rojas plan is UT guy who can has a glove. Better Donovan Solano

Just think we could have had Rodon or Aaron Nola(who was willing to take way below slot) in the rotation right now. Kolek has talent but the control is very iffy
