Teams who spend money get Cubans like Abreu,Tomas,Cespedes,Castillo. While teams that dont get Cubans like Yuniel Ramirez

Only info I could find on him was that he was arrested in DR in 2012

Glad to see you're ability to judge players has gotten to the point of 4PAs.

For those interested br has a page with stats from 10PAs in the 2009 Cuban National Series.

Kendry Flores is just ridiculous right now.

Didn't realize how bad Romero has been this year. His slugging percentage is under .300. Really disappointing.

I wanted to comment on how low Flores BABIP was earlier but got distracted. I'd rather see him than some of the guys in the rotation right now but I'd rather see him develop more while others (i.e., Urena, Nicolino, Rienzo, Conley). Remember Flores has 8 starts in AA or higher compared to at least a full season for the others. This is part of the reason Haren needs to be traded so these guys can be evaluated at the major league level to make a more informed decision if one can hold down the 5th (or even 4th) spot in the rotation. I completely expect Haren and Latos to be traded before the deadline now; I wouldn't mind seeing Koehler traded too (but I'll miss him).

It's a risk at this point. If you think he's worth his arbitration number or he's guaranteed to sign somewhere it's probably better he stays as the draft pick is probably more talented than the trade return. But then again this FO will draft some prep player so it might just be better to grab the trade return.
