  • Postgame: The Dan Jennings Era Isn't Going Well; Marlins Fall 6-1 to Arizona

The Nationals have scored 47 more runs than the Marlins.

    ARE WE WORRIED YET?

I think the Nationals took over first place in the division today; Marlins currently own the 4th worst record in baseball. It'll end in a pile guys.

Amazing how fast this went from feeling like a good team getting some bad breaks (road trip) to full on dumpster fire.

          Seriously.

They'll play .700 ball or something in August/September and finish with 77 wins, leading to renewed optimism next year, just to be let down again when Loria finds some new way to be a clown. Rinse, repeat renewed optimism.

Jennings made changes in the lineup, notably with Marcell Ozuna batting second and Prado hitting in the cleanup spot to help spark a struggling offense.

"Sometimes you've got to move pieces here or there until you get the right formula," Jennings said. "I'm sure the colonel tried a lot of recipes before he came up with his secret one for the chicken so we're going to keep working it until we find ours."
odds we see Hech 2nd and Gordon cleanup at some point then?

Clearly that recipe failed. Maybe actually starting a different group of players will help. Send everyone down lol

                There was a ruling change.

                DBacks actually stole SEVEN bases.

                SEVEN.

                - - - - - - - - - -

Getting swept in back to back home series vs sub .500 teams would be quite a thing, huh?

box score still only has 6:
                  Hill 1
                  Ahmed 1
                  Pollock 3
                  Gosewisch 1

@JoeFrisaro: An official scorer change from last night gave Peralta a stolen base (not fielders choice) so #Dbacks swiped 7 bases v #Marlins

I don't know how reliable that is
