He was removed from the game after. Not sure what his status is.

I think Joc Pederson is one of my new favorite players. Dude just pummels the ball.

He's fantastic. Rates out as a plus defender so far, too. And he hasn't started stealing bases yet. Averaged 42 per-162 games in the minors.

I'm trying really hard not to overreact with him.

          - - - - - - - - - -

Joc Pederson in seven games as a leadoff hitter: .222/.344/.889 with a 0.000 BABIP.

That's my favorite stat in sports right now.

He has six home runs since moving to the leadoff spot, with five walks and 13 strikeouts in 32 plate appearances.

Carlos Rodon made his first Major League start tonight. He got his first big league win while giving up two runs and punching out eight.

If the season ended today the Twins would be in the playoffs

If the season ended today, it'd be a record for shortest MLB season.

If the season ended today, Dee Gordon would hit over .400 and probably top Stanton's extension, because Marlins.

I love that the idea of the Marlins paying too much money has suddenly become a thing.

That looked scary. Reading about the injury has been interesting since it's a rather unique one.
