Have a bad feeling to put Koehler out there for the 8th

I don't see an improvement over Ichiro with how they've been playing. Unless an outfielder needs a day off, I'd rather Ichiro play. But yes Bour deserves another day in the lineup but he should sit tomorrow; he's a platoon player and we're facing a lefty.

Me too. He generally falls apart going thru the lineup a third time. He'll be facing a pinch hitter and then at least escobar and desmond for a 4th time. Redmond's probably thinking oh he's getting outs and he still hasn't thrown 100 pitches today.

Its not bad to spell Morse early in the yr anyways. He's injury prone so extra rest for his legs isnt the worst idea

Of course Bour shouldn't play against lefties, but otherwise. Leaving Ichiro in because they've won a few games in a row, even though he's had little to do with them winning, is bad logic.

Morse hasn't been doing much to help in those games so I don't see how you're suggestion of him playing left over Ichiro is good logic.

Well, that's fine too, but the upside of Morse is much higher than the upside of Ichiro.

Ichiro covers more ground in the outfield than Morse is going to cover. Morse moves like a slug.

Yeah, that's fair. Maybe the offensive upside isn't worth the defense.

Bryce Harper has never faced a pitcher younger than him in the majors and is still the youngest player in the NL. God damn.

This team is so much more fun when we're winning. #obviousiknow
