SF and Atlanta won last night. Pretty sure the dream is gone, boys.

    5.5 back.

5 back in loss column (Giants)

6 back in loss column (Cardinals)

2 of 3 vs Braves is a must

We need to get real hott. Rattle off 6 or 7 in a row. Taking 2 of 3 isn't going to do much for us.

I don't think our 8 game win streak begins in Atlanta.

Let's take two of three there.

We are closer to the basement in the NL East than we are to second place.

We're done.. We need a miracle run and that's not happening.

There's nothing wrong with that trade, at all. Roe was not coming up to Miami. Not going to get an impact player either.

Guys, I'm starting to think we might not make the playoffs.

This team needs an entirely new infield next season, and I would guess second base is the only spot where they might change the starter next season. So, reason for optimism I guess.

I'm sure Redmond will find a way to start Solano even if we traded for Robinson Cano.

The Solano obsession on this board is weird, given the presence of three other replacement-level players in the infield on a daily basis

(I'm count McGehee there because his BABIP-inflated first half wasn't real)

Probably because like you mentioned, second base is the only position the Marlins will change hands on. They aren't going to get rid of Jones and his negative WAR. McGehee had a first half that will make the Marlins love him for the next three seasons for no reason, and Hech is the greatest thing since sliced bread to the front office, coaching staff, and a large part of the fan base.
