JT Riddle is 19 for 38 over his last 9 games with 3 homers. Dude wants to make the top 20 Marlins prospect ranking next season it seems.

        plus it's been 11 games

.627ops with an .091 average is kind of impressive

Nice to see Yosmany Guerra have a good game, even if it is in the GCL.

Yeah, I'm willing to give an 18 year old more than 11 games in professional baseball to prove he wasn't a terrible draft pick.

Also they knew Blake Anderson couldn't hit when they drafted him. The reason why he went so early is because there were rumors Pitt wanted him so they got him earlier and saved cash.

At worse he is Jeff Mathis and sticks as a backup. He actually can call a game and has pretty good skills already. He is like the reverse of Skipworthless-they didn't draft him because of his bat it was because they thought he was a good catcher

With the way he's hitting, Barnes should make it to AAA by the end of the season. He's already had close to 300 at bats in AA, including the end of the season last year.

Could signal a possible callup for Moran to Jacksonville?

Doubtful-they had Avila(org depth),Cordova(more of a 2B),JT Riddle(Utlity) playing there so might as well see if Anderson can play it and then at Jupiter next year
