        He's bad.

The list of current Marlins players who are bad is so long that I can't figure out what exactly is "exciting" about this team.

        Are they exciting or bad?

You can't be bad AND exciting *for bobbob

In my Marlins franchise mode in The Show, he got hit in the head with a pitch and broke his skull and then retired at the end of the season because of it.

          So, I hate him.

/very proud to be making this post as a 32 year old

            Guys that are exciting:

            Stanton
            LoMo
            Yelich
            Marisnick
            Ozuna
            Dietrich
            Fernandez
            Eovaldi
            Turner
            Alvarez

This doesn't include really nice prospects like:
            Heaney
            Moran
            Nicolino
            Flynn
            Conley

Guys that are bad but are probably fine as bench players:
            Ruge
            Hech
            Solano
            Brantly

            ASS:
            Pierre
            Polanco

I didn't include relievers because lololololol

But it's probable that Dunn and Cishek would bring more exciting stuff.

(Or trade Stanton for Bogearts/JBJ/Owens+, or Profar/Odor++)

I'd rank Eovaldi, Turner, and Alvarez under the title of "Interesting" and Dietrich, Marisnick, and Ozuna as "Mildly Interesting".

This is all subjective rankings of course. I'm still not sold on Turner (before this last start), as if you watched his starts this season he's looked just as if not more hittable than the other guys in the rotation. Ozuna would move to interesting if he returned to being a power hitter with some ability to hit for contact.

I have faith in Fernandez, Stanton, Morrison, and Yelich being long term fixtures on the team (I have more faith in Morrison than others). Everybody else I'm still on the fence about.

I do like how our bullpen is rounding out long term. A lot of options to work with (same can be said about our starting rotation options).

The obvious truth is this team needs more hitters to be good. Pitching and defense is great until you realize your offense can't put up more than 2 runs a game.

I think Marisnick and Ozuna are interesting because they're + defenders who should be good enough hitters. Dietrich is much less interesting.

Our rotation is interesting, just probably not as interesting as their current ERA's would lead people to believe.

Bullpen could be really good. A.J. Ramos belongs on the interesting list if we're including relievers.

bad plate discipline and poor defense keep him from having too high of a ceiling

I think he could be a fine regular though. Grab a RH IF bat and let them bash it out together.

I think he could be a fine third baseman.
