  • Ye Olde Baseball: Braves Visiting Marlins

On returning from the City of Brotherly Love, the Finned Phantoms found little warmth at their home hearth as they suffered a thorough bludgeoning at the hands of the Boys from Dixie. The team's erstwhile comrade, Daniel "the Owl" Uggla, flapped his mighty wings and announced his presence with a screech that echoed through the Miami night in an effort that led the Atlantan attackers to victory. Meanwhile, ever the Marlin Killer, Timothy Hudson stymied the hometown heroes, skillfully twirling the ball for 9 innings and befuddling batsmen on his way to logging a complete game shutout.

Hoping for a swift turnaround, the Wizards of Ozzie pin their hopes of quenching the Atlanta bats on Joshua "Longshanks" Johnson, their ace of spades who has recently seemed more like a two of clubs. Youngster Randall Delgado will take the mound opposite Longshanks as Giancarlo "the Blue Ox" Stanton looks to regain some of his May magic.

    Tallyho!

    Randall "the Villain" Delgado
    3-5 | 4.58 ERA

    vs.

    Joshua "Longshanks" Johnson
    3-3 | 4.83 ERA
