I JUST GOT BOBBOB'D
Bob with the bob da bang dee dang diggy said diggy said up jump the bobbob
Bryce Harper called up, Ryan Zimmerman to DL.
Wow. .700 OPS in Syracuse must have really turned heads
this is gonna be sweeeeeeeeet
hope he comes out on fire, pumped for his debut
Hope he does well too but the timing is odd.
Timing would be odd if they had just called him up and sent someone down, but they lost one of their best bats to injury. Makes perfect sense.
He's more likely to make an impact than anyone else down there.
Based on what? He had a pretty awesome spring training a year ago and did really well in ClassA, but he wasn't very good in AA last year and he's been even worse in AAA. Lucky his recent 6 for 18 pulled his OPS into the 700s because it was like .620 on Monday.
He's done nothing to show he's ready for the show.
Based on it was gonna be him or Mark Teahen
He was in Moneyball, right?
Still, Harper hasn't been very good. Rush mode.
Hanley had a .720 OPS in AA and then was handed the SS job and won ROY.
I just don't see the harm in it. They'll send him back to AAA if he's in over his head...and what if he's not?
That's actually really common. Happens every year.
The only time the word common should come up in a Bryce Harper discussion is if it's in the form of common one time.
Bobby Abreu released
Mike Trout on his way up
Scott Hairston just hit for the cycle

His first ML hit also occurred when a guy in the seats behind homeplate mooned the pitcher:
Hammer is hitting .353/.457/.706 after a 3/5 day with a single, double and somehow a triple
he's the bestest
Bryce Harper has shown off all his tools in the first 2 games. What an incredible talent he is.
Most impressed with how hard he ran to first on the come-backer to Billingsley
Mr. Volstad making a start tonight
Nice to see he has picked up right where he left off
Worst ERA in the NL
I think he checked qualifiers.
