it seems like that every year the marlins have a walkoff in the first homestand of the season. Today, walk-off against the mets last year, a couple in 2008.

I am not staying for Nelly.

We are listening to Nas in the parking lot. Woo.

Paulino absolutely thought his hit in the 9th ended it. He was sad that he had to run.

MIAMI -- A potential late collapse turned into late-inning heroics for the Marlins.

Ronny Paulino delivered a two-run pinch-hit double, and Jorge Cantu lifted a sacrifice fly, rallying the Marlins to a 7-6 victory on Saturday night in front of 25,308 at Sun Life Stadium.

The Marlins' first comeback win of the season came the hard way -- scoring three times in the ninth.

After Matt Kemp's home run off Jose Veras in the ninth gave the Dodgers a two-run cushion, the Marlins were in a bind in their half of the inning.

But Gaby Sanchez started the ninth off with a single off Ramon Troncoso, who worked a perfect eighth inning. George Sherrill entered, and on a 2-2 pitch, hit pinch-hitter Wes Helms, who was replaced by pinch-runner Emilio Bonifacio. Chris Coghlan was squaring to bunt, but drew a full-count walk, loading the bases.

Paulino pinch-hit for Cameron Maybin and crushed a two-run double off the center-field wall. Hanley Ramirez was intentionally walked, setting up Cantu's heroics. With the infield and outfield drawn in, Cantu's fly ball was just deep enough to center.

Kemp was playing in, and Coghlan was sent home, scoring on a head-first slide.

LMAO @ Burke Badenhop for getting three shots to turn in a double play. The first one was too hard, the second one to soft and the third one was just right.

Half the stadium got up and gave him a standing O.
