There's more, I'm sure, but it's not like the guy has been a resounding failure in his time there. It also should be noted that that team hasn't had much to work with.
I feel like it doesn't really matter, as I said. I'm not saying he's responsible for their success or their regressions, just that the Nats haven't been completely terrible in his time there.
I mean, I get the argument that great players make so-so coaches look spectacular, but when you hold a job for 7 years and had at least a few promising arms (Ohka, Hill, Patterson, Lannon, to an extent Pavano and Armas) you should be able to produce a decent big leaguer. St. Claire hasn't done that. That's not encouraging.
