He might have to retire soon due to old age, but maybe Isaac Galloway's finally figured it out.

Eh...he's only 27. I've seen guys going in the minors into their mid 30s (and the rare late 30s call up). That said Galloway's play this year has made him the first option to get called up if there's an injury among our major league outfielders. He's never had a season like the one he's putting up this year.

Felipe Gonzalez back on track after back to back starts that really hurt his ERA.

Colby Lusignan having a good season in GBoro (.863 OPS). Was doing just as well in rookie ball at the end of last year after being drafted. Definitely old for the league but that's a product of finishing college. He's 9 for his last 18.

Sadly the internet and sarcasm don't go well together.

Oh hey Despaigne is still bad in AAA too.

I sadly had no idea Cervenka was still under contract in Miami and pitching in our AAA system nonetheless. Reminder they gave up 23 year old Michael Mader, who is performing a 2.45 ERA in relief for the Braves AA team and is very likely to reach a major league bullpen someday, to get him.

            - - - - - - - - - -

Trevor Richards another excellent start. He's gone 5+ IP for 1 or less ER allowed in five of his seven starts. He turns 24 in two days.

Not 1st option-Destin Hood is 1st option however with Yefri Perez DFA he will be the 2nd Option now

Lusignan is typical Marlins guy tho-drafted old and looks great against 21 yr olds however they will move him at a snail's crawl and eventually just release him

              - - - - - - - - - -

              Some housekeeping

Mike Aviles to ML Roster,Yefri Perez was DFA(Possible we lose him-can't hit but could be a 4th OF for teams with speed/defense),Joe Gunkel passed thru and got outrighted to AA

Cervenka is absolutely terrible. Such a horrible deal and such an obviously horrible deal at the time.

He is terrible but not a horrible deal. Cervenka was killing the Fish don't forget so atleast he can't dominate us anymore. Deal was really Cervenka for Mader-the way to look at it is they got a AAAA Loogy for a guy who is in AA. Now when Mader become a SP for Atlanta we can really crap on this deal. Seymour is gonna wash out so

SS Nick Noonan was acquired yesterday from the Brewers to provide MI depth at AAA with Aviles having been called up. He has hit .193 in 145 Major League at-bats in his career, and was 7-of-33 at the AAA level for Milwaukee this year prior to the trade.

5 home runs in just this thread alone. Think saying Galloway's on fire would be a massive understatement. .984 OPS now. Don't care what tjfla says he's certainly surpassed Hood as the team's top call up option if an outfielder gets hurt.

Damn good to see Braxton Garrett finally playing. Pretty damn good start to his career with just 1 ER allowed in his first 9 2/3 IP.
