  • Hech to DL; JT Riddle Up

Oblique strain for Hech. Huge loss for the lineup. Thought he looked like he injured himself in that last AB in the 9th last night but they didnt say anything. He ran really awkwardly. Rojas more time in the lineup.

On the TV broadcast, they replayed him grimacing while running up the first-base line after putting the ball in play, so that may be where it happened.

Oblique strain is never a short injury. No clue how they can keep Urena and only a 4 man bench now-with Prado and Hech out it means no real backup at 2B/SS/3B. JT Riddle isn't bad but nothing special. Decent glove but bat is suspect. When I say no real backup-I mean Mattingly might have 2nd thoughts about using him late in the game like he likes to do with guys. Riddle can play 2B/SS/3B

Should have non tendered Hech and used the 4.5 on Plouffe OR Carter/UT guy and let Rojas play SS

I've got to imagine Urena is DFAd when Prado comes back
