It was because she was tired of being a fan of the Marlins because they're so mismanaged, so she's going to be a fan of the Pirates instead.

The same well managed Pirates that have not missed playoffs for a straight quarter century.

I believe it was because of the fact that they've been a joke of a franchise for a reeeeeeeaaaaaaal long time. Weird place to jump to when leaving a team for being a bad franchise.
