If the Angels are offering 5 and we are offering 6, CJ Wilson would be silly to not sign with us.

Cliff Lee took less last year to return to Philly where he wanted to be. I'd imagine CJ might do the same if it's a chance to play for his hometown team. It's also been mentioned that he prefers the west coast.

Not saying I don't want him, I do. I'd actually prefer him to Buehrle. I just think it's going to be harder to get him with the Angels making a strong push and the Rangers could also up their offer if they lose out on Buehrle.

Belief is cj wants to go west (angels) but marlins very aggressive. Angels very practiced at finishing 2nd.
