It's Joba's job to get batter out so why must he go all crazy after he does so. A fielder's job it to prevent a batter getting a hit and throw them out or catch a fly ball but they don't scream or fist pump after doing it. I guess the fact that Joba is back in his reliever role and only pitches an inning or w/e makes him feel like he can do it rather than when he was a starter he did it less frequently.

So you assume I'm ok with basketball players do that every night? I find that annoying as well but A LOT of basketball players do that. Why is it that Joba seems to be the only middle relief that acts like he got out of a bases loaded game winning situation every time he ends an inning. K-Rod is about the only other one that comes to mind that does it a bit as well and he actually closes games.Comment
