it is true.. will be released today when they put the update of games out.. the folder is under the ps store media folder.. the mlb.tv folder is there the app isnt live yet.

That is amazing. Totally defeats the purpose of getting ExtraInnings on your cable package if you can use your existing MLB.TV account. I'd much rather have MLB.TV subscription and have the freedom to watch on my iPhone (through AtBat), computer (through MLB TV), or TV (through the PS3) than having to stick exclusively to my television for all games.

Sweet! Looking forward to trying this out... now I don't have to watch games on my laptop. I wonder what the quality is going to be like... sometimes mlb.tv gets a bit choppy for me on my computer.

Quality is another reason I'm pumped for this to come on the PS3. My laptop uses wireless whereas my PS3 has a wired ethernet connection so it'll be faster, and hopefully superior quality, less choppy, etc.
