Ya it’s like we have more holes than a 28 year old #2 starter who isn’t gonna fix our problems before he turns into shit before were good and we waste another asset. But please keep holding onto your #2 starter on a team with 0 hitters anywhere close and 2 years minimum from competing. Don mattingly is a terrible manager, has always been a terrible manager literally since the first inning he started here in his first spring training, and continually gets a pass for horrific borderline incompetent decision nightly. That fucking moron should have been fired with Samson and loria he is that bad at his job. He is literally incompetent to anyone who looks at any semblance of stats to determine the value of a manager. He’s literally an absolutely horrendous manager

That would literally be a great idea because I do use literally far too often. But regardless i agree with Erick that this team will still win over 60 games. Like the 35 wins last year but significantly less ridiculous, 60 wins is still really hard to be that bad and this team isn’t royals or orioles bad over the course of 162. I overestimated how not terrible These bats would be collectively but this team is still within that 62-66 game area

What was the rationale behind leaving Lopez out there to dry tonight? Unless it was some lesson to teach Lopez for not preparing adequately for the game, that was a pretty bullshit move by mattingly to leave Lopez in there, especially with Chen barely pitching ever this year

Still think they win 60. At some point in the season:

1) law of averages works to your advantage
2) they call up younger guys who are better than the morons they're playing now. When Ramirez is starting instead of Berti, when Gallen is in the rotation over either Sandy or Trevor, etc. things will look a little better. Plus you hope that some of the morons figure out how to hit again.
