And? Who cares dude? Thanks for telling me my forum habits. There’s more fun banter over there vs cage match over here…..

    1) I wasn’t talking about just myself. I was talking about members as a whole and speculating as to why people aren’t posting here. Forum issues and team moves
    2) this place has become nothing but a bitchfest back and forth between members (to which I’m contributing now, admittedly) that also drives people away

I think this tear down was just one too many, at least previously we could say, oh well when they get the stadium, oh well when they get a new owner, oh well when they get some analytical talent in the front office. All hope had gone. I'm fortunate i can watch the games when i eat my breakfast and on my commute. Not sure i would give up an evening...

    We started 6-24 last year.

The website always works for me on the phone.

My comment of “This website had a good run” was commentary about the lack of posts in April when the team is performing beyond expectations. Not how the website was functioning. It’s a shame lou left but I understand specifically why.
You must be the only one. I’ve had issues with it for years now… People aren’t going to seek out/come to the site if they have to jump through hoops and try 5 browsers on 3 devices just for it to be legible, especially if traffic is already low, on a team few of us are very enthusiastic about after yet another rebuild process. I had to download a new browser just to be able to view it.

anyway, sure they’re doing better than expectations, but expectations were horrid, so….eh. And we all know Bendix is going to ship anyone good (namely Sandy) out in the next month or two, so why invest too much into it?

realistic guy, baghdad bob. when you beat a fanbase down over and over and over again, this is what happens. wondering where the fans are after a 6-6 start after the bullshit they have pulled over the last year and a half is truly laughable. been telling you that for over a year.

I mean Lopez will likely end the year being a well below replacement level hitter.

His glove is nice but you should probably enjoy what little offense he gives you while you can.

The outfield has made 3 All-World catches already and it’s the second week of April.

Otto Lopez has a .736 OPS (with .243 BABIP) to go along with elite defense.

The Marlins are the only team to score more than 3 runs against the Mets (they scored 5 runs two or three times against the Mets).

Nick Fortes has a .833 OPS.

With no Eury, Weathers and Norby.

There are things to talk about. There just not getting talked about on this forum. I’m not judging anyone. We could easily lose 100 games. But right now we are 6-6. “this website had a good run” was legit commentary.

I think the cumulative actions over the last 2 off-seasons finally pushed me to watch the Orioles when I want a baseball fix. (Lived in Baltimore the last decade+.)

I know we're used to cries of "no really, that's the last straw!" but it's been kinda sticking for me thus far.

There's not really a lot to talk about. The team is doing better than expected, but still pretty bad. There hasn't been like any outstanding performances outside of maybe Max Meyer who looks pretty good so far. Mervis seems like a nice pickup. Hopefully Sandy can get back to his inning eating ways sooner than later.
