According to MLB.com the Marlins played 116 games and went 36-80 vs teams with a .500 or better record so far and is the most by far in all MLB. Can someone explain this disparity ?
I get we have several good teams in our division, but even in our own division we've played a seemingly much tougher schedule.....Atlanta is 52-40 (92 games), Washington 43-48 (91 games), NY Mets 44-55 (99 games), and Philadelphia 48-50 (98 games).
Pittsburgh (104) and Cincinnati (100) are the only other teams to play 100 games or more (there are none in the AL) so far vs teams with over a .500 record besides the Marlins.
I get it we are pretty bad but this seems to be a bit unfair.....
