Apparently we're only paying half of the $900K left for this year, so we're sending about $450K.

Bour's surplus value is probably like..... $20+ million, and that's ignoring the 1B masher types (Morrison, Mouse, etc.) got nothing in free agency.
I think a FV40 prospect the team likes actually makes sense, although "two" would likely be better.
I am guessing it's a lefty reliever.

Also looks like he must be protected on 40 man as a 2014 draftee.
Guess we'll see if it's him.

Phillies will send a pitcher currently at single A to Miami for Bour

Bailey falter would fit the bill as a guy not on the top 30 list, currently in single A, and has very similar numbers to a lot of guys we have acquired in terms of very low WHIP guy who walks very few people (like Lopez did).

Marlins love a nice opportunity to not trade high on a player to hold onto them on a non-contender and then trade them a year later when their value is at its lowest. Its the marlins way.

Marlins beat writers post a lineup with Rafael Ortega in the lineup and dont say a thing or even notice he's been called up. Great work.

Per MLBTR/Heyman:
The Marlins will receive left-hander McKenzie Mills, Fancred’s Jon Heyman reports (Twitter link). Mills was an 18th-round pick for the Nationals in the 2014 draft, and the 22-year-old has a 3.51 ERA, 2.58 K/BB rate, and an 8.5 K/9 over 89 2/3 IP for high-A Clearwater this season, with Mills starting 16 of his 20 appearances. This is the second notable trade Mills has already been part of in his young career, as he was sent to the Phillies from the Nationals last summer in the Howie Kendrick deal.
