Hi everyone,
Its been a long time! It's hard to imagine 2022 will be the 14th year of SoFlaMarlins.com. A lot of people have come and gone. Being a Marlins fan has felt like a chore more than we probably care to admit. Lifelong friendships began here. Life got in the way for some of us. If you have been around since the beginning you may remember how this place came to be, including our predecessor, TealandBlack.net. It all seems silly in hindsight, but it has been such a great experience.
At this board's peak there was a new post roughly every 1 minute during primetime between 7pm and 11pm on a nightly basis. Hard to believe that now and how technology, and quite frankly the Marlins run of futility, has changed that. So I have gone ahead and cleaned things up a bit to streamline the discussion. I will be working on other things to improve the overall experience, and maybe draw in more users as we draw closer to spring training.
My intention is to keep the board alive so long as our server continues to graciously host us. The site was a labor of love for many years and someone is going to have to pull the plug for me when the time comes.
Please let me what you think and including if there is anything I should tackle first.
