They bring the family out to home plate and tell them they have something special for them. They tell them to look at the big screen and there pops up their relative that's overseas. They try having the family talk to him and they are talking in spanish so they had a translator there to translate what they were saying and with the delay from the feed they kept on talking over each other which then lead to silence. The crowd had no idea what to really do and then you just see most of the family members crying and then every time the relative or family tried to talk they ended up doing it at the same time so they really didn't hear each other (or atleast the family at the park). I mean they really should have just done it privately.

They also had two different bands play before that and it just sounded like a bunch of noise. When the roof is closed you can't make out any specific sounds, it was terrible.

Not really what I was saying. Furcal has fallen off a cliff the past few years, either Schumaker or Descalsco are pretty bland at 2B, its unrealistic to think Berkman or Molina repeat their amazing 2011s, Jon Jay is a huge question mark, and its hard to imagine that Freese continues to hit as he has over his last 40 or so games, postseason included.

Their lineup is full of question marks.

This isn't even the first time they did something like that. They did it on 790 the Ticket during one of the Samson segments last year when they had the mother call in to surprise her with her son and they spoke to each other on air. LeBatard felt so awkward when trying to let her know that her son was on the line and it was just so weird. I don't understand why they want to have that be public. Just make it a private moment for the family, you're still doing a good thing.

Well I think the worst call actually went in our favor. Infante was called safe and I was 99.99% sure the ball beat him but a good half second.
