Dakota Bennett has a 1.46 ERA in 36 IP at the GCL. 19 years old, 11th round pick last year.

5 ER and 10 K's over 5 IP seems to showcase both the potential and problems with Jorge Guzman at the moment.

Dustin Beggs has allowed 2 ER his last 26 IP.

Dustin is begging for attention: note the success as a starter in particular. Overall: 100 IP, 2 ERA, strike out an inning thru three levels, low walk rate, .93 WHIP. We're looking at the minor league system's Pitcher of the Year perhaps.

Nick Neidert will be the minor league system's Pitcher of the Year.

Neidert is certainly the favorite (144 innings already), but each should have a couple starts remaining. In 13 starts this season, Beggs ERA is close to 1.20.

I was waiting for Lee to get on the Beggs bandwagon.

Dude was 25 in Greensboro, that's Lee's dream.

Seriously, though I wonder who he pissed off to start the year in GBO. He wasn't bad there last year. Who knows maybe he's another Jeff Brigham although Brigham always had talent, but was constantly de-railed by injuries. Beggs is a little more out of nowhere.

Without question, my dream is to be 25 again. Beggs is what he is: a pitcher having a fabulous show of improvement and success this season. I don't hold his completion of college against him. How about this? Neidert has pitched at least six innings w/o allowing a run just once in 24 AA starts this season. Beggs has done that in both of his AA starts. What Marlin fan wouldn't be proud to hop on that bandwagon?

He didn't piss off anyone,he got hurt in ST and they were bringing him back slowly. He started his season in the bullpen.

Another great start for neidert. Final numbers dont look as good but the manager in Jax tried to push him to 8 innings after throwing 7 scoreless efficiently
