Roy Morales Rivera is a 2014 C/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Lares, PR who attends Colegio Angel David. Large well proportioned athletic build, very good present strength. Right handed hitter, rock back load, slightly open stance, looking to pull the ball, longer swing with very good bat speed and strength at contact, top level power, ball jumps off the barrel hard. Continues to improve as a catcher, plus raw arm strength, accurate throws, release is still long but not an issue with his arm strength and accuracy, threw out a couple of game runners, 1.82 best pop, receiving skills advancing quickly. Lots of positives from this event. Good student, signed with LaSalle.
