41 game plans went on sale to the general public on Monday.

I just spoke with my rep. There are a 15-20 seats available on Third Base Reserved (sections 24-28) COMBINED. :o

Those will not be available for the 41 game plan. Mostly because the seats are sold/being held for full season packages.

That's the "current policy", but they won't sell all of them that way and will come back to me soon. They have the 41 game orange seat plan in right field right now but it's behind the right field bullpen and too far from the field for my taste. We shall see what happens but I think they will email me back shortly... If not, I will just watch the games on tv.

It's hard to tell. They are salesmen, so they're going to say anything to get the sale.

But I do have a feeling that they are being truthful that they're selling them quickly. If it's one thing I know about Miami fans, it's that they swarm like flies on shit to something new and exciting.

That is going to be a premium section with the Taste of Miami and left field bar just steps away. They are going to hold those seats for full season packages until the end.

It's not sold out, but it's not available for half season packages. There are places all over the ballpark like that.

I do have a question. Is it me or do the hand rails going up in down the aisles in the lower deck look WAY too high ? If you are close to the aisle will you be able to look over them or have to look through them ? Anyone else notice that ?

It isn't, but you will have the "opportunity" to buy them.

It depends.

The 40 game packages do not include Opening Day but you can exercise the option. If you are the first person to buy that seat, you can go ahead and buy Opening Day. If you aren't, you have to wait until later on when they are done selling packages and you will be placed somewhere else around the ballpark.

I'm pretty sure you're going to have to pay more then $12 to go to opening day. I expect that game to be sold out QUICKLY.

yah theyre closed on sundays, but my guy said he would do anything to sit down and talk to me about season tickets, so he told me he would even open up the sales headquarters for me on the sunday that i wanted to go on.

3B base is better because you are close to the Taste of Miami and the Bar + SRO area in left. Just my opinion.

What's going to piss me off is when the sales team opens the left field porch up to 41 game plans once sales grind to a slow halt soon. Or even 20 game plans for that matter. That's where I wanted to sit but I will be happy with section 24 i'm sure...

I think they have row G is 308 open. It seemed too high up for me, but it should be pretty good. I went with 3rd baseline.

I sat in very similar seats at a SF Giants game and the view was awesome. This stadium is being constructed by the same architecture firm and the renderings make me optimistic the views will be similar. I also want to avoid spending a ton of money since I'll be getting tickets for myself and my wife. plus I'm still unsure if i will be opting for a parking pass which is almost as much as the ticket package itself. (The sales guy was pretty uncertain about the shuttle options to public transit and his comments make me think the Marlins are pretty clueless about the Metrorail.)

I like being a bit higher up because you get more of the cool Miami skyline view. When you're down in the lower level, the angle really prevents you from seeing much of the skyline. And you're looking straight on to the field without having to watch half the game looking sideways.

They have F and G on the 1st base side. You will not see the top half of the skyline though but still should have a great view of field. The way I look at it is, you will be able to turn the Baseline Reserved into a higher resale percentage than Vista during big games. Who knows though

I personally bought the 300 level because I like sitting a little higher up to have a view of the whole field. Plus being in row E, I only have a couple of rows ahead of me to worry about.

I live in Brickell it's like a 10 minute drive to the stadium. If they have a shuttle run to the Brickell station instead of Culmer. I could just walk home.

Yea, the parking situation is really starting to worry me. I'm not going to fork over the price of one full season ticket just to park. I really hope they work something out with some other places to get the shuttle going to and from.

I hope they figure something out. I work in South Miami, and I can't figure out a way to get there easily. I've read in other threads that they'll have shuttle buses from Vizcaya which would probably be my best bet.

Or also I'm hoping they won't sell enough of the parking spots and drop the price of them.

I am pumped for this season to start. We ended up getting tickets in section 308. Plan A for the 41 game package. Also secured my Opening Day tickets.
