Not much this week, other than SS Manny Mayorson getting released; He was hitting .249 as the starting SS in AAA. Looks like he only struck out 23 times in 337 ABs....but also only walked 13 times.

As for former farmhands, P Harvey Garcia got dealt to LA from Pittsburgh. And the Rays signed P Joe Nelson.

Former Padre Brian Lawrence and P Matt DeSalvo both made their debuts for New Orleans tonight.
