His hit yesterday was cheap but whatever.

I'm speculating but Joe D probably had a cheapie or two during his streak
I believe during his streak, he did not get a hit in the All Star Game

Well I don't know if there was a game that the score keeper was the reason he had a hit in the game.

I don't know.
He also had a 61 game hit-streak in the Pacific Coast League, which at the time was like AAAAA (yes, five).
And I also believe that before the 56 game streak happened, he had a 30 something streak

I don't know if it's possible, but Ted Williams' achievements get seriously underplayed. His on-base streaks are more impressive and harder to achieve than DiMaggio's hit streak. Yet, they are rarely ever mentioned.

I mean Joe D got a hit in every game for a span that equates to a 1/3 of a season. I really don't see someone beating that feat.

I thought I read that Joe's brother had quite the hit streak going as well and Joe made a nice diving catch on him that ended up snapping his streak.

That same season, Williams hit .406 with 37 HRs (1.287 OPS!!!) as a 22 year old and he still loses the MVP to Joe D.
Also, Ted Williams had 84 straight games where he got on base at least once. That's more than 1/2 a season. Statistically, that's harder to do.

Joe D had a catchy song for his hit streak.

Yeah, our nation didn't turn it's lonely eyes to Ted Fucking Williams when a housewife adultery epidemic ran rampant.

If you are into reading I suggest reading the Ted Williams Biography of an American Hero. Williams lost out on a few MVP awards because he hated many reporters. Reports admit that they left him off their ballot entirely because of their dislike of how he treated them.
