So I accidentally clicked the TV option next to the Braves-Padres game and discovered something interesting. Padres fans now have a choice either to watch the game out of market (normal MLB.tv) or in market through Cox Cable.

What are the details of this and, more importantly, is it available for the Marlins? If not, does anyone know when it will be?

Being an out-of-market Marlins fan, I use mlb.tv daily. The only time that message has ever popped up was for the Padres games and, even when you click "out of market", I was taken straight to the Padres broadcast and had to change to the Marlins feed from there. I'm not sure what that is.

YES and Cox were the first to break the blackout barrier.

So far no other RSNs have come to any agreements.
