Interesting to see some more, "no names", if you will, to go this year

Skipworth....this probably won't end well.
I guess Dominguez is too cool for the AFL now, now that he's rocking a .330 OBP and .740 OPS. He's eligible, right? Hopefully he goes to play somewhere else this winter.

He's eligible, didn't he go last year? I may be way off or wrong.
If Osvaldo and Buente are on the AFL roster, does that squash their chance of being September call ups?

Good question. I really don't know. Didn't Buente go last year as well?

He did go last year, but if I remember right he got hurt pretty early on and didn't play much, so he may benefit from going again.

I've heard good things about Andrelcyzk. What's his future?

*Ryan Curry is also on the team
Anyways I am have no clue why we sent Curry, Skipworth, and Stone. I think it would have made more sense to send the likes of K.Harvey, Bryan Evans, Smolinski, Hickman, Raynor, A. Caminero, and Jose Rosario instead.

Harvey and Raynor are free agents after the season and likely will be gone (they could resign but I don't see it)
How sure are you about Raynor? You don't become a minor league FA until after 6 years of service time and he was drafted in 2006. That'd put him at 5.

You're right, my bad, so then just Harvey. I just wasn't even thinking, my bad.

Curry and Stone are eligible for the Rule V, so I guess seeing if they are worth keeping? But then why not Caminero/Rosario/Benjamin?
I mean, I'm not saying that makes since. Curry is a nice fielder and has some pop for a 2b but his approach at the plate is horrendous and he was just flat out terrible this season, who in their right mind would take him? And stone has been all kinds of unimpressive. 1.42 K/BB with a 5.1 K/9?
But that's only excuse I can think of.

Isn't it possible Caminero and Rosario play in a winter league somewhere?

Don't forget the AFL isnt just for prospects,it is also for guys who have not got alot of PT due to injuries.
Martinez and Skip are going to see what they are made of,the same with Andrelcyzk and Cishek(Every year we send 2 Class A/AA arms) it lets them pitch against older hitters and prospects.
Curry is prolly going to see if he could be a UT-not a great hitter but a decent glove to have
Stone and Buente going to get innings more than likely as they have both been injured. Get them more innings and then bring them to ST
Now onto the guys that didnt get sent, most of the latin guys go back home to play winter ball.Last year we had like 15 guys on a team in Venezula and another 10 on 2 teams in the Dominican.
Hickman???? Are u joking-the only way he gets sent is if the AFL want some publicity for a guy going 3-80 with 3 HR's and 75 K

Everyone needs to clearly lay off Hickman. He is clearly a record setter. He just has seemed to forget that strikeout are not a good thing unless you are pitching.

It should be noted that Skip will be the youngest player in the AFL.
Fully anticipating some great BP.
